Technical Plant Maintenance Technician
We are looking for someone with strong technical and practical skills, capable of addressing a variety of issues and, above all, quickly identifying the cause of a malfunction. Our system incorporates hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and technological components; for this reason, we are seeking a versatile, independent maintenance technician who is accustomed to problem-solving.
This resource will serve as the operational reference for routine maintenance and initial troubleshooting of the company's systems and facilities.
Specifically, the position will involve:
• inspection, maintenance, and initial troubleshooting of hydraulic systems;
• inspection and replacement of solenoid valves, pumps, pipes, fittings, and other system components;
• identification and resolution of anomalies and malfunctions;
• inspection of electrical and electromechanical issues;
• verification of the proper operation of stations and technological systems, and initial diagnosis in the event of offline devices or anomalies;
• maintenance work on the greenhouse and related structures;
• minor carpentry, repair, and mechanical maintenance tasks;
• maintenance of gates, structures, equipment, and company components;
• use of tools and instruments for maintenance and repair activities;
• coordination with external technicians and suppliers when the task requires specialized expertise.
Requirements:
• Experience as a plant maintenance technician, technical maintenance technician, maintenance worker, maintenance engineer, or in similar roles;
• Strong practical skills in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems;
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions;
• familiarity with pumps, solenoid valves, piping, and plant components;
• excellent manual dexterity and proficiency in using tools and equipment;
• proficiency with technological tools and systems;
• ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills;
• precision, reliability, and a sense of responsibility;
• ability to work as part of a team;
• Class B driver’s license.
Experience in the maintenance of production facilities, agricultural facilities, industrial facilities, greenhouses, irrigation systems, or technological systems is considered a plus.
• Full-time fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension;
